Miracle Berry Fruit Tablets

Candice here. Got my video up that I had mentioned before! I posted this on my page The Multi Mom, and I wanted to share it here, too.


These little miracle tablets are totally awesome and would help a great deal with weight loss, if you're willing to pay quite the cost for them. (Mine cost $13.95 for 10 tablets on Amazon!) By a stroke of luck (a "miracle"! lol) I was able to get my hands on some miracle fruit tablets, made from miracle berry pulp. The miracle berry does something (I don't know what) to your tastebuds, and makes it so that anything sour or bitter that you eat tastes sweeter. They eliminate the need for sugar (after you dissolve a tablet on your tongue, they make all foods taste sweeter for a while), so you wouldn't need to use any sugar to make foods taste better, like lemons, limes, grapefruit, tea, coffee... I've seen videos where even hot peppers taste milder, and things like mustard, pickles, and vinegar have new and interesting flavors. Not only is it healthy to try, but it's fun, too! Here, I'm eating a grapefruit, but I've already tried a lemon and lime since making this video. AWESOME!!!

Turn sour into sweet?

Candice here again  :-)  I recently bought some "miracle berry fruit tablets", which is basically miracle berry pulp in a pill form. Have you heard of these before? They are awesome! Tonight I'm going to see if I can eat a whole grapefruit without having to load it down with sugar like I usually do. Can you imagine the health benefits of this if it'll work? I'll be able to eat grapefruits all the time without all that sugar! Drink tea without sugar! I'll just suck on a tablet and be like - sugar? What's sugar? Who needs it? Not this woman! lol


I just made it through a lemon (and it was so freaking good!) so I have high hopes for the grapefruit. I especially can't wait to try the lime, since I heard they taste even sweeter than the lemons do. Wish me luck! lol   I bought 4 grapefruits, so I'll definitely be making a video about it soon. I just wish they weren't so expensive... but if you want to help me out on my weight loss journey and make it easier for me to give up sugar (since these tablets make EVERYTHING taste sweet!), I have them on my "wish list". Challenge 1/30/2012

Lauren's Challenge: " I've seen how you (Jackie) have been indicating that you are struggling lately. For starters, I want you to go back and read the goodbye letter you wrote. Then I challenge you to create a reward system for your progress. I never did journaling during my journey, BUT I struggled getting the motivation to workout (deployed hubby, with an infant and a full time job was exhausting). My reward system was that I wasn't allowed to shower until I worked out. If I did this 5 days a week, I allotted myself 1 meal to contain a "splurge" item (not the whole meal, just one portion of it). Maybe you can find something that will work like that for you."
  I read my goodby letter and all my inspiration board items over again...
 Now rewards...
If I do 4 workouts a week I get the choice to have my rum that weekend (as a splurge) or I get to have the weekend off from cleaning... if I don't do my workouts then I HAVE TO clean house during the weekend (including much over do organizing of places like the garage).
If I complete all my workouts for the month then I get to indulge in a spa night in (do my nails and stuff like that).
If I stick to my diet post and calorie count for the week I get to go out (window shopping or borrow the car for the day) on the weekend and don't have to post my weekend meals (although I will keep my eating habits reasonable during the weekend)... if I miss any weekday diet post then I HAVE to follow my diet posting to a T on the weekend.
If I loose 10lbs I get to make myself a low calorie but yummy dessert for my last "snack" of the day (so something within my calorie budget but that takes more effort to make than my usual snacks).
 If I loose a dress size I get to sell my old clothing and buy a new set with the funds from my "yard sale" along with make/have a dessert (of reasonable portions) or drink (yay for rum).
Proof of all activitys is journaling so if I do not post what my activitys are then I miss out on any rewards.
